On the occasion of Grandparents' Day on October 2nd, the Ferrara Cisl (Fnp) Pensioners' Union intends to celebrate them, remembering their fundamental role in families and society.
A greeting on their special day is a dutiful act of gratitude for the time they dedicate to their grandchildren. Indeed, in recent years, grandparents have increasingly become "within reach"—a phone call away, and they come running, helpful and caring, ready to replace their children in the often tiring, yet always enjoyable, task of caring for their grandchildren. Furthermore, the FNP observes, grandparents teach values and pass on age-old knowledge: treasures that never go out of style and that we must preserve and pass on.
