Elections for company union representatives (RSA) were held on Thursday and Friday at the VM Cento plant.
Twelve union representatives were elected for a total of approximately 1,200 workers, with over 700 voters.
Those on leave, temporary workers, managers and representatives of Fiom Cgil who expressed their opposition to the specific employment contract in their company were unable to cast their vote.
Following the elections, Fim-Cisl has 4 representatives, 3 Fismic, 3 Ugl and 2 Uim.
"This is a significant result," emphasized FIM provincial secretary Sandra Rizzo, "also because so many workers turned out to cast their votes. It's a reward for the work we've done."
