The harassment of pensioners continues. In three years, the maneuver subtracts 2.5 billion euros from
\npockets of pensioners by intervening again on the adjustment of pensions to inflation, making
\nonce again "cash" on the purchasing power of pensions of those who have regularly paid contributions for
\n40 years and over!!
\nA large delegation of pensioners from Ferrara will participate tomorrow, December 28, in Bologna, in the initiative
\npublic meeting called by Spi-Cgil, Fnp-Cisl and Uilp-Uil to protest against cuts to pension revaluation
\nand the lack of effective support measures for the social security, healthcare and welfare systems and interventions for
\nTax equity and economic development in the budget law passed by the Lega-Movimento 5 stelle government
\nfor 2019.
\nThe demonstration will begin at 10.30 in Piazza del Nettuno and will end with a demonstration in front of the
\nBologna Prefecture in Piazza Roosevelt; a letter will be delivered to the prefect Patrizia Impresa
\naddressed to the Prime Minister, Conte.
\n\u201cWe consider unacceptable,\u201d affirm the three trade union organizations, \u201cthis method of government which places
\nhands in the pockets of pensioners, feeding the ranks of the new poor. We ask for the opening
\nof a comparison starting from the proposals of Cgil, Cisl and Uil on healthcare, non self-sufficiency, social security and taxation
\nfor Italian workers and pensioners, the most taxed in Europe\u201d.
