The Department of Social Policies\u00a0<\/b>operates within the territorial scope as an interlocutor with the authorised political bodies that provide assistance services to citizens.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

The Mission<\/h3>\n

  • It carries out dialogue and negotiation with the institutions providing and planning territorial welfare in order to define the most appropriate social services for the community;<\/li>\n
  • It has an active monitoring role on the quality of health services provided in the Districts;<\/li>\n
  • Supervises spending by local authorities on social services;<\/li>\n
  • It aims to implement local finance equity through comparative analysis of the municipal budgets of the province of Ferrara among themselves and in different years;<\/li>\n

    The Districts of Ferrara are three:<\/h3>\n
    \n\t

    West DISTRICT<\/strong>
    \nMunicipalities of<\/em>: Cento, Bondeno, Mirabello, Sant'Agostino, Poggiorenatico, Vigarano Mainarda.<\/p>\n

    DISTRICT Central-north<\/strong>
    \nMunicipalities of<\/em>: Ferrara, Masi Torello, Voghiera, Copparo, Berra, Formigniana, Iolanda of Savoy, Ferrarese ro, Tresigallo.<\/p>\n

    South-East District<\/strong>
    \nMunicipalities of<\/em>: Portomaggiore, Argenta, Codigoro, Ostellato, Comacchio, Goro, Lagosanto, Fiscaglia, Mesola.<\/p>\n

    According to the principle of subsidiarity (art. 118 of the Constitution), the provision of services is the responsibility of the territorial body closest to the citizen, therefore the Municipalities and, where applicable, their Unions.

    Intermunicipal Association of Alto Ferrarese<\/strong>: Bondeno, Sant'Agostino, Poggio Renatico, Cento, Mirabello, Vigarano Mainarda.<\/p>\n
