WHO IS IT FOR?
The Support Administration protects those people who, for various reasons, are completely or partially deprived of autonomy or who are not fully aware of their actions, including:
- people with mental or physical disabilities
- elderly people who are completely or partially deprived of autonomy
- people with psychiatric problems who are not fully aware of their actions
- people who have had an accident and are confined to bed for a long time
- people with gambling, drug, alcohol, compulsive shopping or other addictions. The law provides that the establishment of support administration is a benefit for the person with fragility, defined as the "beneficiary".
WHAT CAN THE SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR DO?
Performs the actions specified in the "appointment decree" which may concern the care of the beneficiary and the management of his/her assets:
Beneficiary care
For example for:
– the management of daily activities
– the management of the house in which he lives
– the selection and management of family collaborators
– the relationship and collaboration with social and health services
– informed consent
Asset management:
For example for:
– the well-being of the beneficiary
– collecting the pension
– payment of rent, taxes and bills
– savings management
