The CISL FP has launched an important initiative to benefit public sector workers, for whom the law requires payment of severance pay (TFR/TFS) with waiting periods ranging from a minimum of 105 days to a maximum of over two years. This is a penalizing and unfair practice that must be addressed.
For this reason, the petition "Equalize severance pay disbursement times between the public and private sectors!" has been launched, which will be submitted to political representatives.
The initiative is also being implemented with the filing of five pilot cases in the courts of Milan, Rome, Ancona, Turin, and Genoa, aimed at bringing the constitutional legitimacy of this treatment to the attention of the Constitutional Court.
