ISEE is now the prerequisite for accessing numerous social benefits and bonuses: from REI (Equivalent Investment Income) to baby bonuses, to reduced university tuition and school fees. Since mid-2018, a new savings opportunity has been added:
A current account with no bank fees or stamp duty for those with a 2018 ISEE (Indicator of Economic Situation) of less than €11,600.00. Retirees with a gross pension of up to €18,000, even if the applicant's ISEE is above the indicated threshold, can benefit from this discount by applying directly at their bank or post office.
