Dearest,
As you well know, on the 19th of this month a united demonstration of pensioners took place in Piazza del Popolo in Rome, where we demanded:
• the maintenance of reversibilities, both existing and future ones;
• maintaining the purchasing power of pensions and their revaluation;
• the same tax deduction for both employees and pensioners;
• the extension of the 80 euros to the lowest pensions;
• a framework law on non-self-sufficiency;
• recovery of the damage caused by the blocking of the revaluation in the years 2012 – 2013 on pensions higher than 3 times the minimum;
• the long-standing problem of the separation between social security and welfare spending.
As you can see from the attached photos, we were there “HEADS HELD HIGH!”.
