Felsa Cisl Ferrara – the federation of temporary, self-employed, and atypical workers – is organizing a conference to address any concerns faced by those who have or are planning to open a VAT number.
"As part of my work at Felsa," says Dr. Cecilia Caselli, the category's regional manager, "I realized the need to clarify the complex and bureaucratic system within which self-employed workers operate, which is fragmented in its organization and the daily execution of work activities.
Likewise, within the framework of Sportello Lavoro, a job orientation service that we have been running with passion and satisfaction since June 2018, I have repeatedly met people who were evaluating the opportunity to use their residual NASPI (unemployment) benefit to start their own self-employment project.
In all these cases, it's important to have a clear idea of the costs: tax, social security, and any fixed costs of the business sector you've started or intend to start. It's also essential to understand recent regulatory and tax changes (flat tax) as well as an overview of the possible corporate forms available.
To address the issue in a comprehensive manner, Caselline concludes, we will meet with accountant Giuseppe Belletti on Thursday, February 14th, at 4:30 p.m., at the Cisl Ferrara headquarters at Corso Piave 60. The meeting is intended to be informative and interactive. Confirmation of attendance is appreciated by emailing sportellolavoro.ferrara@cisl.it.
