On June 6, the RSU elections were held at six companies in the Ferrara petrochemical industry: Basell, Versalis, Yara, Syndial, SEF, and IFM.

Femca–CISL confirms its position as the most representative union in SEF, and becomes so in IFM.

In detail:

IFM, with almost 47% votes and 1 delegate, Femca CISL regains the primacy of representation in the Ferrara petrochemical services consortium.

SEF, with 2 delegates out of 4 and 38% of the votes, Femca CISL confirms itself as the first union in the ENI group company.

Versalis, with more than 35%, Femca CISL reconfirms the 3 delegates and the votes of the past elections in the main company of the ENI group.

Basel, with the 24% (with an increase of 6% compared to the last elections and the historical record of votes, at least since the time of Himont) Femca CISL increases by one delegate in the RSU, going from 3 to 4 delegates.

Syndial, with more than 22%, Femca Cisl reconfirms the delegate in the RSU.

Yara, with almost 17% and the record number of votes in the last 20 years, Femca CISL confirms its delegate in the RSU.

Overall, 12 delegates were elected to the RSU representing Femca-CISL in the 6 companies out of a total of 40, confirming the good work done in recent years and the trust of the workers at the Ferrara petrochemical plant.

The elections saw a high turnout, with 1,192 workers (blue collar, white collar, technical, and managerial) out of 1,499 eligible voters, representing 79.521% of the total. This is an important signal that workers are sending to businesses and politicians, a signal of complete confidence in the abilities of the men and women of the Ferrara trade union movement.

A trust that each of the elected delegates will surely be able to demonstrate has been well placed, with their commitment and daily work in defending acquired rights and negotiating new ones.
