Dearest,
The following is the agenda item, approved by the General Council of the FNP-CISL of Ferrara on November 9, 2020, in support of the dispute against the indiscriminate closure of some post offices.
We continue to be close to the Postal category.
Good day.
Fraternal greetings.
Sergio Dal Buono

The General Council of the Fnp-Cisl of Ferrara, meeting on 9 November 2016,

– views the initiatives undertaken some time ago by the Fnp-Cisl of Cento and Anteas of Reno Centese, with the sending of two open letters to the institutions, tending to postpone the hypothesis of closing the Reno Centese Post Office;

– noted that the closure of small post offices in the province also affects the municipalities of Masi Torello and Voghiera;

– considered that the above-mentioned municipalities have submitted, after the TAR's rejections, an appeal to the Council of State for the maintenance of a public service, and that several municipalities in Emilian provinces such as Bologna, Forlì and Piacenza have also acted along the same lines, as have many municipalities outside the region;

– ascertained that Poste Italiane's decision to close small offices stems from company policy, without taking into account the inconvenience caused to pensioners and the elderly, despite the presence of public funding;

– reiterated the need, As Sergio Dalbuono, the Ferrara Territorial Secretary of the FNP – CISL, expressed in a press release dated September 6, 2017, this issue cannot be solely relied upon by the Council of State, which will issue a ruling in early 2017, but rather requires POSTE ITALIANE to abandon this business plan to avoid serious social consequences for the most vulnerable.

reiterating that it is necessary to involve political and social forces more, not only in the above-mentioned territories, to see a social service such as the Post Office recognised

INVITE

there Fnp – Cisl Regional Secretariat  to map the various Emilian regions affected by the problem and, together with Anteas, promote all necessary initiatives, both regionally and nationally, given the large number of offices affected by this reorganization.

The General Council, in endorsing this proposal, is confident that the Ferrara Fnp-Cisl and ANTEAS will have further elements to bring to the discussions with the Public Administrations, validating the efforts made thus far.

Ferrara 9/11/2016                                                                                                          Approved unanimously
