Yesterday afternoon, after 6 days of voting, the elections for the renewal of company delegates ended in one of the main manufacturing companies in our area: Ceramica Sant'Agostino. The candidate lists were Femca Cisl and Filctem Cgil to assign a total of 6 seats.
The voter turnout was excellent, out of 297 workers voted for 71%. The result was for Femca Cisl 81% and five elected delegates. The remaining 19% resulted in one delegate for Filctem Cgil.
The Secretariat of Femca Cisl expresses full satisfaction for the result achieved and thanks all the workers, the scrutineers and the candidates for this important democratic appointment of union representation. We also express our sincere and indelible memory for our friend Nicola Cavicchi, former Femca Cisl delegate when he left us, together with his colleague Leonardo Ansaloni, in the tragedy of the earthquake that hit the company.
