Aliper rewards the heart of volunteering. At the Copparo store, 465 euros were donated to the Anteas section of Copparo for the daily transport activity in favor of needy people without their own means.

UNA NUOVA AUTO PER ANTEAS COPPARO

A day of celebration and great satisfaction, Saturday 20 May, for Anteas Copparo: the volunteers in fact welcomed the arrival of a new vehicle to replace one that was no longer adequate.
"We replace a malfunctioning machine to have a fleet of cars that is up to the service we provide," explained local coordinator Saverio Menna. "Just last April, we carried out 652 transports: the vehicles must therefore always be efficient. Maintenance of the lifts also goes in this direction, to offer everyone better services. This is possible above all thanks to our team, made up of 29 volunteers, including three secretarial workers, three professional nurses and 23 drivers: today we are also welcoming a new driver, who increases the group."
"The machines would be nothing without volunteers, whom I thank for their daily commitment," said Mayor Fabrizio Pagnoni. "I bring the "thank you" of the entire community, which uses your services in the most delicate moments and finds a welcome made of closeness and listening. You are people with a heart and the people of Copparo appreciate it very much."
The ceremony was also attended by the president of Anteas Ferrara, Paolo Paramucchi. «This group represents a true spearhead – he remarked -. So much so that at the regional level it was asked to promote the Copparo experience at the national level as a model of social transport».
In 2022, Antea Copparo traveled 137,569 kilometers and made 1,922 trips, while 415 intramuscular injections, 132 blood pressure tests and 116 blood sugar tests were performed at the Parco Verde clinic, for a total of 761 visits.

La chiusura degli uffici postali nei piccoli centri danneggia le fasce deboli

The pensioners' union FNP CISL of the WEST district of Ferrara, (which groups together the municipalities of the Alto Ferrarese), together with the voluntary association ANTEAS by Reno Centese, hereby Open letter, reiterate their opposition to the closure of the Reno Centese post office planned for the next few days, following the TAR ruling.

The closure of post offices in small towns such as Reno Centese (but also Montesanto, Masi San Giacomo and Marozzo in the province of FERRARA), cannot be decided only following an industrial plan of Poste Italiane. This plan may have taken into account productivity and economic aspects, but it does not take into consideration the validity and presence of a very important service especially for pensioners.

This is an essential public service, especially for the elderly, who can approach them by limiting their discomfort of dependence on others. In fact, the closure of this office would involve having to resort to third parties to reach offices located in other places, with personal economic burdens, not having a network of public transport services compatible with their daily life needs.

Without going into the merits of the choices that the Mayor of the Municipality of Cento intends to adopt to oppose the TAR ruling (we hope for an appeal to the Council of State which has already expressed its favourable opinion in other parts), the invitation that FNP and ANTEAS feel they should submit to the managers of Poste Italiane, to the President of the Region, to the President of the Province and to the Mayor himself is to evaluate instead of office closures, investments in offices in small towns. Being closer to the needs of the elderly, recreating that relationship of trust that is also very important in managing savings. The feeling that is now registered, is a sense of abandonment, not closeness and assistance. The Post Office has made and can still make even a small fraction like Reno Centese important.

Let us not forget that the 2012 earthquake severely affected the population of that territory, that the PUBLIC, with the Region and Municipality at the forefront, faced the emergency investing to maintain primary services such as schools, trying to avoid the emptying of the hamlets, and right in Reno Centese, there is now a large and modern school complex. Naturally behind it are the families, who currently use or potentially could use postal services.

The FNP-CISL Pensioners' Union and the voluntary association ANTEAS, in their respective roles, believe that what is expressed above is not asking for a regalia; but starting from this, (oppose the closure of a post office), to start a process of revitalization of small centers, with the necessary involvement of the population, "but also of those who provide and manage the services", not for them, but for residents.
