From April 1, 2019, private sector employees must apply for the family allowance (ANF) directly to INPS, via the online procedure, and no longer through their employer.
Checks must be requested annually.
The patronage is the only intermediary authorized to submit the request on behalf of the worker.
Agricultural workers continue to submit their application on paper to their employer.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO APPLY?
To apply for a family allowance through the INAS welfare agency, the following documents and information are required:
- applicant's identity document and tax code;
- email address and/or telephone number;
- applicant's pay slip or company tax code;
- date of change in marital status;
- personal data and tax codes of family members;
- household income for the year preceding the year of application:
- income from employment and similar, from pensions, unemployment, sickness, redundancy payments, etc. received in Italy or abroad, including arrears (Cu/730/unico);
- income from self-employment, from buildings (including the main residence) and from land (single/770);
- absence of any other family allowance or other family treatment for a similar period;
- Copy of the authorization for family allowance issued by INPS in specific cases of separation, divorce, custody, etc.
you can request arrears for ANFs for a maximum of 5 years.
