The University of Ferrara, in collaboration with the Ferrara CISL Territorial Trade Union, establish a degree award dedicated to Marisa Baroni: a historic figure in Italian trade unionism and, in particular, in the CISL, where she held prestigious positions, both in Ferrara and nationally, distinguishing herself for her tireless commitment to workers' rights and the emancipation of women in the workplace.
The award is reserved for graduates in the academic years 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 (no later than August 10, 2026) at the University of Ferrara.
To participate in the award, the thesis topic must be the following: “Worker participation in the management, capital and profits of companies”For evaluation purposes, particular attention will be paid to papers that take into account Law 76 of 15 May 2025.
The amount of the prize is €2,666.67 (two thousand six hundred and sixty-six/67), subject to withholding tax of 25% (art. 30 DPR 600/73).

All attachments required by the online procedure are mandatory, under penalty of exclusion from the competition.
Applications submitted in any other way will not be accepted.
If the winning thesis has multiple names, the prize will be divided equally among the authors, provided that each submits a valid application.
The winner will be notified by registered mail.
The judging panel will be composed of two professors from the University of Ferrara, a representative of the Ferrara CISL Territorial Trade Union, and the Head of Administrative Procedures (or his delegate) acting as the minutes-taking secretary.
